Convert slot port to round

Joined: Wed Feb 13, 2008 9:08 pm Posts: 392 Location: Morris, IL For the particular subwoofer I'm talking about, the box specs for one sub would be 1.6cu with a round port of 3" dia x 2.5" length, tuned at 30hz. How would this translate to a slot port with a 14" height?

My link assumed you already knew the port tuning desired and wanted to convert port size or from round to to square or a slot vent. Sorry for the confusion. Re: Convert round to slot ports It's gonna be a long, shallow box, but I havn't had a chance to figure some dimentions yet. It would probabl be better to figure for a 3 or 4 inch square port, to reduce port length.
